Just to let you know the deal with postage
Unfortunately because we send by weight, the system says this isn’t to heavy it can go untracked, not realising that a Q-Snap frame cant fit into any envelope, we tried fiddling with it, and the opposite happened, where it started charging for every item, so we thought this way is better at least we can say the postage is extra instead of saying yes you want 50 threads sure thing, postage is $20…..wont work as people wont want to shop with me if its to dear ????
Is a painful situation, a few people have asked about flat rate postage. but if we said $2.20 flat rate then for Lowery stands to NZ thats a super duper bargain and once again I just cant afford to do that…also to offer free postage means I would have to increase my prices so I actually made something to cover it, lol..So any orders after the 8th February will be charged additional postage if its required, (did mention this last week also)..

Postage Issues
We have been having issues with the freight/postage on the website, for the first day it undercharged greatly, so we have had to change weight on some items but have now found it is overcharging on some items, this is going to be a work in progress for a week or so till we can fine tune it a little. So if you think your postage is a little high, at checkout please choose bank transfer and put a note in your comments, and when I reach you I will check and adjust where necessary and let you know new total, it will be easier than issuing refunds left right and centre.Hope you are enjoying the new site and Maggie is working furiously behind the scenes to tweak a few things and also getting up those charts. Stock Issues and Control
Just a reminder, not everything is up on the site, if you are after a chart head back to the FB shop and get the name from the albums. Also most Aida and linen is in just stock hasn’t been put up as yet, so in your comments field at checkout just add what you would like and i can invoice separately for this….
We are hoping to have most stock updated by the end of the month. In the meantime enjoy shopping 🙂

First message is an apology…..apparently I only turn 5 today not 6, got my years confused……..so let the celebrations begin……every order as well as your free mini needle minder will also receive a little gift from JKS, I have 3 very large Boxes to give away during the month of February, some stitching related some not, lol.
Website: The JKS website is open for order from 12 noon today EDST, this is due to making it fair for WA where it will be 9am, but from then on it is open 24 hours a day like any other website but of course I will pack and post during what I deem my business Hours……… Orders will no longer be accepted through FB messenger, there is a contact us tab on the site which will come straight to me and you can aways add a note at checkout.
SHIPPING
Although I’ve tested the postage calculator with many postcodes, including New Zealand, it’s not been possible for me to test every single one. If, for some reason, you get a message at checkout saying that freight can not go to your post code, please email me at jkscrossstitchsupplieswebsite[@]gmail.com (removing the [ ] ‘s and I’ll try to sort out the problem for you

WEBSITE ISSUES

Some things to point out will be no image, with no replacement image put in it’s place. A ? in a word. For eg the word might be cre’me and it shows as cre?me.
These are things I’ve missed and I’d appreciate help pointing them out to fix them.
Of course, any constructive criticism is also welcome 🙂

COVID UPDATE
Some categories have expected delivery times, for example Picture This Plus and Polstitches hand dyed fabrics, have an expected delivery time of 5 – 6 weeks. All these dates are pre-covid but we have left them as we are optimistic that one day there will be some kind of ‘normal’ again.
These 5 – 6 week delivery expectations are now realistically 5 – 6 (or more) months. There’s nothing we can do to speed it up.
We really have to remember how lucky we are in Australia and New Zealand. Most of the world is still struggling with massive outbreaks, lockdowns, illness and fatalities. Many manufacturers are still temporarily closed and others are managing with a skeleton crew.
There are very few international passenger flights coming into Australia and ships are being turned away due to staff testing positive for Covid.
Recently there was a shipment of Zweigart from Germany turned away. As JK’s only use Zweigart fabrics it meant stocks were running very low. Another shipment has since arrived and we do have some colours and counts in stock now.
All we ask is that you please be patient.
