A reminder on how to contact Janet – and a Covid Update

Afternoon all…….apologies, I haven’t turned on my personal computer for two weeks but I can see a stack of Facebook messages from people. Please remember all messages should go through the website using the contact us tab, otherwise I may not see it till I log into FB. This way you will get a response the same day.

NOW MAJOR UPDATE
We have updated the website with Corona Virus news about Sydney, but we have just been told all of Greater Sydney will go into lockdown from 6pm tonight, this means me and the shop…….so no visitors till Saturday July 10th are permitted for picking up goods. The shop will remain open for all online orders as per normal but please remember post will be delayed a lot.
We are ok to go to the post office to post through Australia Post and Aramex pick up direct, but then 80% of post goes to Sydney before being sent on and this is going to cause a huge backlog like it did this time last year.
I am still waiting on some fabric to arrive, well a lot. I have over 50 bolts arriving on Monday and hoping I can get more out but COVID is still playing havoc and if this strain does overseas what its doing here then this will really upset the apple cart.
I apologise for the time things are taking, but my hands are simply tied. The moment goods arrive in I am getting them out, but some of those goods are just not making it here. A lot of manufacturers 12 months down the track are still not producing a large capacity of goods.

Update to Covid-19 Delays June / July 2021

Updated 26 June 2021:  Due to Covid-19 related lockdowns in Sydney there may / will be disruptions for upcoming deliveries for at least the next TWO weeks.  We are expected to be in lockdown until the 9th / 10th July 2021.  This will affect ALL locations, including New Zealand, as Sydney is now the main distribution centres for both Australia Post and Aramex.  Delays in freight of orders to you AND deliveries to me are going to be inevitable.

As always, if you can’t find an item please message me using the ‘contact us’ tab on the website and I’ll try my best to help you source what you’re looking for.

Before chasing an ETA on your order please check your local news site or station as to whether lockdowns are still in place.  This will help me greatly as I won’t have to send multiple replies stating the same thing – ie I don’t know, it is out of my control.

I will update on you on the Covid-19 situation as I find out more.  Maggie has just had her surgery and is fine.  But she won’t be checking any messages or emails for at least a week.  If you have an urgent password or account reset issue please use the ‘contact us’ tab on the website.  Maggie’s husband has been given a ‘crash course’ on how to help me out with the small issues and this will get us through.  He also has control of her Facebook account … oh dear J

Delays due to June / July 2021 Covid-19 Lockdowns

Maggie has just had her surgery and will be out of action for at least a week.  Despite everything leaving my shop / premises there are still things I rely on Maggie to do.  So there may be additional delays, or simple things you notice, that are different like packaging or wording.  As always, if you can’t find an it on the website please message me using the ‘contact us’ tab on the website and I’ll try my best to help you source the item you’re looking for.
