DMC Colour Variations Art. 417

DMC Colour Variations can be used by stitchers of all skill levels and with all embroidery techniques. It is a stunning multi-coloured thread that alows you to create subtly colourful pieces without ever having the change threads. It has been double mercerised for a gorgeous sheen. This beautiful thread is made up of six easily separated strands, which allows you to customise the thickness of the thread by choosing the number of strands. It’s fade resistant and has guaranteed colour consistency from one skein to the next. For counted cross stitch designs you can for your stitches in two ways: One cross stitch at a time – this will give you more control over the placement of the variation in the thread. Or with the standard method – Tis refers to stitching a row of half cross stitches in a row then completing each stitch on the return. This will create a ‘tweeded’ or blended look of mixed colours.

DMC Colour Variations is 100% colourfast and can be washed in warm water (60 °C). Please ensure fabric is suitable for washing.
